Add RAM to a server or hypervisor

This article explains how to create a ticket to add RAM to a server or hypervisor.

Create a ticket in the MyRackspace portal

  1. Log in to the MyRackspace Portal with your username and
    password.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Support > Support Center.

  3. In Common Request section, click See All Templates and it will display list of all templates.

  4. From the Common Request window, select Add RAM to Server or Hypervisor.

  5. Select Device(s) from the drop down list. Enter the amount of RAM you want to add.

  6. In the Preferred Maintenance Schedule section, you can choose to have the
    work done at any time by selecting the Anytime checkbox. Otherwise, fill
    out the remaining maintenance details to have the work completed in a scheduled
    maintenance window.

  7. Click Submit button.
