Set up an IMAP account on a Windows phone

Use the following steps to configure an IMAP account on a Windows®
Mobile phone:

1. Locate the Settings options on the Application menu.

2. Click email + accounts.

3. Click add an account.

4. Click other account.

5. Enter your full email address and password for your account, and click sign in.

6. If the device does not auto-detect your settings, click advanced on this screen.

7. Add your account name, enter your name, and then enter the following server settings. (You need to scroll down on this screen to see the additional fields.)

   • Incoming email server: Enter secure.emailsrvr.com.

   • Account type: Select IMAP4.

   • Username: Enter your full email address.

   • Password: Enter your email account password.

   • Outgoing (SMTP) email server: Enter secure.emailsrvr.com.

   • Outgoing server requires authentication:

   • Use the same user name and password for sending email: Check this box.

8. Click sign in.

When the setup completes, you see a new icon in your Settings menu with the name of your new email account.
