Namespace Details

The object storage can be accessed through the public internet Access URL or RCG IP or Service Net IP from the namespace details.

For Windows Hosts

1. Please follow the process to edit and save the hosts file located below to add the RCG IP or the Service Net IP.

2. Save the file.

3. Perform a nslookup or ping from the windows host to check if they resolve to the updated RCG IP or the Service Net IP address to the access URL.

For Linux Hosts

1. Please edit the /etc/hosts file on the linux machine to add the RCG IP or the Service Net IP.

2. Perform a ping from the linux host to check if they resolve to the updated RCG IP or the Service Net IP address to the access URL.
