Import email address data into Outlook 2011 for macOS

This article describes how to import a copy of your email address data from Outlook® 2011 for macOS®.

Import email address data

  1. In Outlook 2011, click File > Import in the top navigation bar.

  2. In the Choose a File Type window, select Outlook for Mac Data File(.olm). Then
    click the right arrow in the lower-right corner to continue.

  3. In the Begin Import window, select Outlook for Data File(.pst or .olm). Then click the
    right arrow in the lower-right corner to continue.

  4. Choose the .olm file that you want to import into Outlook.

  5. In the Import Complete window, the message Outlook has finished importing your data displays. Click Done.

You have imported a copy of your email address data into Outlook 2011 for Mac. It could take several minutes
to several hours to import, depending on the size of the importing file.
