Rackspace Services for VMware Cloud Release Notes#
Rackspace Services for VMware Cloud is a cloud solution built on VMware Cloud Director™ and Dell Technologies EMC VxRail that enables full VMware Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) capabilities and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) as a service through an easy-to-use self-service interface.
Rackspace Services for VMware Cloud allows you to realize the benefits of a VMware Cloud at a lower total cost of ownership and is available in Rackspace Technology data centers with flexible consumption options. Rackspace handles building and managing the ongoing operations of running and optimizing VMware so that your IT resources can focus on its organizational goals.
Because this is the initial release of Rackspace Services for VMware Cloud, there are no new features.
This release includes the following known issues.
When you become a Rackspace customer, you are also provided access to the Rackspace Cloud offering. You are not required to use the Rackspace Cloud account, however, if you do, you are responsible for all incurred charges.
When you launch the Rackspace Services for VMware Console from the Rackspace Customer Portal, depending on your settings, access to the portal might get blocked by a pop-up blocker.
