The maximum number of snapshots per volume is now 500. See absolute limits for this addition.
For performance reasons, this limit was changed from 5000 to 500. Any reduction in the maximum number of snapshots per volume will be reported in Release Notes.

The methods for volume transfer have been added. For the method descriptions, see volume transfer operations.
The ability to create volumes on a different node or rack than existing volumes
was added. Use the
metadata parameter in the body of the request, and
different_rack with a comma-separated list of
volume IDs from which you want the volume that you are creating to be distinct.
For example, specifying the following parameters in the request body creates a
volume on a rack that is different from the three specified volume IDs:
Note that if the criteria specified with
metadata cannot be met, the volume
will be in an error state.
See the create volume operation for this addition.

Fixed a bug in Cloud Block Storage that was introduced in the
Cinder Volume Manager deployments on January 27, 2015, and January 29, 2015.
size="100" was used for the create volume operation, the value was
not properly converted to an integer. This issue resulted in a response
code of 400.
invalidImage fault type with error code 412 was added to the list of
metadata request parameters were added
to the create volume operation.
os-extended-snapshot-attributes:progress progress indicator was added
show snapshot details operation.
You can now create a new Cloud Block Storage volume from an existing volume
(clone by volume) by adding the
source_volid parameter to the
create volume operation.
The HKG service endpoint was added.
Fixed an issue in which the method for creating a volume from a snapshot was
size parameter and was creating a volume the same size as the
snapshot. Now the volume size must be greater than the snapshot size.
